A FF7 Holiday Trip - The World Of Fantasy

We find our crew once again in Tifa's 7th Heaven.

Cloud: I'm bored.
Everyone: Yeah...
Vincent: Why don't we go to Bugenhagen?
Red: What for? Not that I mind going, but I don't see how that's gonna make our boredom go away!
Vincent: Maybe he has some really cool new inventions for us to try out!
Red: I doubt it, he hasn't invented anything for years.
Cid: I agree with Vampy, and if he doesn't have anything for us, we can go back again!
Tifa: Um, why should we want to try out strange inventions anyway?
Yuffie: (whining) Yeah, I don't wanna.
Cloud: 'Cos it might be fun, and it's not boring!
Cait: Why don't we just vote for it?
Vincent: Good idea! All in favor say "I" !
Cloud: I!
Cid: I!
Red: I!
Cait: I!
Barret: I!
Tifa: ....
Yuffie: ....
Vincent: I!
Cid: Great, so we're going!
Tifa: But...
Cloud: Sorry Tifa, we voted for...
Yuffie: BUT....
Cid: Stop whining! Hey, it could be fun!
Tifa: Oh well...

At Bugenhagen's place (That's Cosmo Canyon for those of you who've forgotten where it was!)

Red: Hi gramps!
Bugen: Hello Nanaki, what are you all doing here?
Vincent: We hoped that you had invented something cool and that we could try it out.
Bugen: But I haven't invented anything for years!
Red: That's what I told them, but maybe you changed or something like that...
Bugen: Well....
Tifa: Ok, he hasn't got anything, now let's go again (almost walks out the door).
Bugen: Wait!
Yuffie: (walking behind Tifa) *groan*
Bugen: Coincidentally, I DID make something lately, but I am not sure it's safe...
Vincent: So what?
(I actually did NOT let Vincent speak, so I think he's rebelling against me! Hmm, I'll teach him...later! (evil grin))
Cid: We don't care if it's safe, tell us what it is!
Bugen: It might be deadly to use...
Cloud: Nah, we're the heroes, we can't die!
Bugen: ....and you might not be able to come back....
Cid: 'Might not' is our middle name! (read: 'total assholes')
Bugen: ...And I can't help you if something goes wrong....
Vincent: (impatiently) Just give us the damn thing!
Bugen: *sigh* Oh well, here it is. (hands Red a weird rod with blinking lights and a screen-thing on top)
(Note. For those of you who recognize this, it's the same thing which is used in the Bob saga on the Ye Olde's FF7 page!)
Red: What is this?
Bugen: It's a space-time traveller, which can make you travel through space and time!
Cid: Cool!
Cloud: Double-cool!!
Yuffie: Triple-cool!!!
Cid: Are you two making fun of me?
Cloud/Yuffie: *gulp* uh..no!
Cid: Good.
Bugen: Because it's a complicated machine and also very dangerous, I'll only tell Nanaki how to use it!
Cid: *whine* Ah man, why?
Bugen: If not, you guys'll destroy it placing the world in great danger!
Vincent: So?
Cloud: Yeah, we always do that!
Bugen: Just forget it! Only Nanaki may use it!
Red: (laughing at the others) I'll take good care of it.
Bugen: Ok. I'll instruct you how to use it and the rules etcetera.
Cloud: And what should we do in the meantime ?
Red/Bugen: JUST WAIT!
Everyone: *groan*

After five hours...

Red: Ok guys, I got it. Let's go!
Everyone: Zzzz...
Red: ...Iiiiiiiii think it can wait until tomorrow...

The next day, still in Cosmo Canyon.

Red: Ok guys, Bugenhagen told me everything. It's quite easy actually...
Cid: So you can teach us how to use it too?
Red: I can, but I won't!
Cid: Damn!
Tifa: Do I have to come?
Cloud: Don't be such a wuss, you wanted action didn't ya? Here it is!
Tifa: Action, yes. Get myself killed, no!
Yuffie: I'll go, maybe I can steal..uh..find some new materia there!
Vincent: Let's just go ok?
Red: Now, we all have to stand close to eachother, because this device has a limited radius of working.
Barret: Wus'ya sain'?
Cloud: Just stay close to us Barret.
Barret: Ok.
Red: Ready?
Everyone: GO!
Red: (pushes a button, thing goes BLEEP!) Here we go....
Everyone: AAAAHHHH.......
(nothing happens)
Red: ...?
Everyone: Huh????
Red: Oops, I forgot to put in a location to go to....sorry.
Cloud: Just hurry up ok?
Red: I'm ready! Here we go! (very unfortunately, Red didn't wait for everyone to hear him before he pushed the button,
and therefore he didn't notice that Barret and Cait Sith stepped away for a few seconds. They were sadly left behind... *sniff*)

Cloud: (after a long, weird trip to some unknown place) Where are we?
Red: I don't know.
Tifa: Hey, where are Barret and Cait?
Red: I don't know either...
Vincent: You left them behind!
Red: Oops...
Cid: You' damn right "oops"!
Cloud: Get us back!
Red: Um, I'll try...
Vincent: What do you mean, "I'll try" ???
Red: It means that I will try to get us back.
Cid: You're not sure you can???
Red: I don't know where we are, and therefore we can't go back!
Cloud: Why?
Red: you see, we travelled through some sort of 'Hyper-space travel-route!'
Yuffie: And to travel through there, you need six points in space and a seventh point, a point of origin?
And you knew the point of origin from OUR planet, but not the point of origin from THIS planet?
Red: Yes, howd'you knew all that?
Yuffie: I saw Stargate...
Red: Oh...
Cloud: But what does this mean?
Red: It might be a while before we get back!
Vincent: I suggest that we make the best of it, and see what tomorrow will bring us.
Cid: I agree.
Red: I'll try to get this thing ready to take us back.
Tifa: I'll cook dinner for us.
Yuffie: I'll steal..FIND some food for us to cook with.
Cloud: I'll help you. I'll kill some animals!
Vincent: I'll.......think of something useful!
Cid: Vincent, we don't have that long. Mind if your 'useful' idea will never be used?
Vincent: Hmph. At least you said my name correctly.
Cid: Damn!
Red: Ok everyone, let's start getting busy!
Everyone: Ok. (they all start working/doing stuff)

Back at Cosmo Canyon.

Barret: Yo cat...
Cait: What?
Barret: Where'd they go?
Cait: I don't know, I think they left us!
Barret: Foo's, I'll kills them when they gets back!
Cait: Yeah, me too!
