Prologue: The history of Terra and the Terran race.

In 2007 the space station MIR was no longer needed, as the new station ISS was finished. It had a long delay of three years, due to technical problems caused by unknown reasons. Mankind had been exploring the universe around them not long after the second world war was over. The ISS was much larger and much more useful than MIR. Although it had been a rumor for about fifty years, no alien races were known to man so far. There were lots of images which had to be evidence of alien existance, but they were never taken serious. Extraterrestial activity became a popular form of media-attraction, and most of the worlds population believed that there were aliens 'out there,' or even among us! The universe was the largest questionmark for man, and they tried to understand it, but always failed. Every time they figured some thing out, something new would be discovered, and they had to start from scratch again. In 2012 the governments of the five most powerful countries in the world came together and decided to reveal the truth about aliens, the truth which they had kept for almost 60 years! They invited the aliens to come in the year 2015, and the aliens replied that they would certainly come. In 2013 the world was shocked by hearing about the alien's existance. The five governments announced the public that the aliens would land at 2015, the 4th of July, in America, and that there were going to be peacetalks and trading-negotiations with the aliens. The Human race would live in harmony with the aliens and there would be splendid trade between the two races.

The 1st of July. The arrival of the aliens was being prepared. In the state Florida a large open space was cleared for the aliens so they could land. Gigantic TV-screens were put up all around the world only for the aliens, and the media was going out of their minds. This was definitely the largest media event of all times, which is to say, it would have been if the aliens would have come. Sadly enough, and to great dissatisfaction of the world, no aliens came to earth, and no signal or anything was sent to earth for a reason. The governments were blaimed and accused of lying to the whole world. Not a single person believed the five governments anymore, and so the whole human race was back at the same position, in which they believed that they were the only ones in the universe. It was for no reason that the whole space-program was completely cancelled. ISS was abandoned and production of spaceshuttles and such was completely halted. The only imaginable explanation was that man had lost faith in other races, and therefor they didn't try to regain contact or whatsoever again.

For three decades long the world was evolving with incredible speed. New inventions were made with such a speed that the economy took strike after strike, ending up in a very fluctuating progress. The worlds population increased with lightspeed too, and although there were 'only' 7 billion people walking on the surface in the year 2000, it was now 2046 and there were 29 billion people! This ofcourse caused huge environmental problems, but due to the rapid flow of new inventions, man got the ability to live under more extreme circumstances than ever before, using new prosthetic devices to control the human body under those extreme circumstances. With extreme, i mean the following: The average temperature on earth was about 37 degrees Celsius around the NORTHERN area's! Around the equator it was about 48 degrees!

In 2055 mankind was at a population of 33 billion people, and they finally decided to restart the spaceprogram. Even though the governments announced the reason for restarting to be funding, and that it was cancelled in 2015 because there wasn't enough money to uphold it (which is coincidentally the same reason they claimed to be for cancelling the program back in the 1980's), the people found themselves believe in it again. Space was now to be conquered, not discovered. If there were any alien races, they would either cooperate, or be crushed! This violent way of thinking was probably caused by the false promises made by the aliens in 2012. Especially the same race which lied to the humans had to be crushed, because they never replied any calls from earth since 2012 and therefor were believed as traitors. They were from now on known to man as Prodontians, which came from the greek word "prodontias," which meant traitors.

Man combined different technologies to create the ability to make actual colonies on other planets. An important discovery was made when scientists invented Cryo-genic stabilization. From now on, planets beyond our solar system would be in reach by stabilizing humans which made them 'sleep' for as long as they like, but not get older, and programming ships to fly to the planets using ONLY robots, and on arrival 'wake up' the humans! Because of the densing population on earth this program was called "The Big Escape." Man had put up 23 colonies in the planets Mars, Mercury, Venus and Pluto. Next to that, there were 7 colonies on the moon alone! In these 30 colonies there were about 2 billion people, but as the growth on earth itself was still so high, the "Big Escape" had to start immediately. The only problem was that there weren't any reliable ships designed to make such long journeys, so it had to wait unfortunately. When finally in 2064 the new 'Prani-Cruiser' was designed, the world was celebrating. The Prani-Cruiser was so large that it couldn't be constructed on earth, so they made a new spacestation to replace the now rotten ISS. They gave it the name "Gateway" to make it look like it protected earth from aliens. This station was about the size of a small city, and it took another 3 years to be constructed. But when in 2067 the "Gateway" was to begin construction of the Prani-Cruisers something went incredibly wrong: a small terrorist group had risen from out of nowhere and killed the three important officials who were leading the Big Escape-program. This caused much commotion under the people who were working on the Big Escape. It questioned their minds about if it was the right thing to do, and when the year 2070 came, the Big Escape was stopped by the terrorists. It had been three years of bombings and murder, but the population finally gave up fighting against them, seeing no reason to continue. The terrorists, calling themselves 'The Protectors of Terra,' weren't satisfied with just stopping the space-program. They wanted to destroy all colonies on the other planets, including the moon. By announcing that the colonies had to be abandoned or destroyed, they unchained another war, but this time it lasted much longer. The Colony War was the longest war known to man, as it took almost 212 years! In 2281 the terrorists gave up seeing that they wouldn't succeed. Mankind celebrated again, but this time no new space-programs were started, as the Colony War destroyed all data needed to build the Prani-Cruisers and spacestations. Man stayed once again within their own solar system, trying to find ways to 'free' themselves from the five planets in which they were hold. Hold by themselves...

After the Colony War the people began to think if the aliens had somehow managed to manipulate the terrorists so that they wouldn't be conquered by the rash humans. Such theories came up like mushrooms and scientists tried to make contact with the aliens once again. No response was given however. In the year 2305 the four largest (and richest) companies came together and thought of a sinister plot to rule the earth. To make it successful they decided to make the plan more friendly to the people and in 2306 they announced that they 'merged' into a new company. This new company was called APC, Ar-gen Power Coorporation. It had nothing to do with electricity, but power to control the population and all the colonies which still stood on the planets. The company wiped out all the large armies of the governments with Nuclear destruction of the twelve largest and most important military facilities on earth. The governments saw it happen and surrendered, giving APC full control of all the civillians on all the planets in the solar system! APC was very happy with their newly acquired power and decided to restart the space program again It was now the fourth time that the space program was restarted, and people started to get irritated by the fact that it never got finished. Seeing the public without any interest in space APC launched a full attack on the colony Klyrra IV. They claimed that the aliens were back and destroyed Klyrra IV without reason. The people, now irritated, decided to go into arms anyway, and immediately started production of spaceshuttles and space stations. The designs of the Prani-Cruisers were miraculously brought up again, but they weren't complete. Therefor it was called the 'Neo-Prani Cruiser' and they added weapons and such to defend themselves from any attack made by the aliens. In 2318 the Neo-Prani Cruisers were finished, and APC had 6 Cruisers with a strong attack, and 6 with strong defenses. They also made 3 Cruisers without any weapons or defenses, because these three Cruisers were equipped with Cryo-genic hibernation features. Almost similar to the Cry-genic stabilization feature from earlier, this new hibernation machine was much more reliable and stable, and people weren't having trouble in using them correctly, as opposed to the stabilization machines which sometimes caused several illnesses to the people using them. APC told the public that they had done well, and that they were now able to blast those irratating aliens out of space! Sending their 12 N.P.C.'s to Klyrra IV, they (APC) also filled the 3 Hibernation-N.P.C.'s with scientists and colonists. Those three cruisers were going to change the history of not only mankind, but also of the whole universe...

The "Prodontians" were not happy being accused of destroying Klyrra IV, and even while they weren't an aggressive race, they decided to go into arms and wipe out the 15 Neo-Prani Cruisers, just to teach the foolish humans a lesson! They sent their strongest battle ships to intercept the twelve N.P.C.'s which were sent to 'destroy the alien presence.' APC sent their ships to destroy the aliens, but they knew, or at least they thought, that there were no aliens which destroyed Klyrra IV, and therefor they didn't expect to recieve a message from 20 Prodontian battle ships on the 31st of januray, saying that their final hours had begun. The crews of the twelve cruisers were to say surprised ofcourse. They prepared the cannons for a hard battle and sent the 20 Prodontian ships the next message: "We will crush you like the insects that you are!" The messages were also made public on Earth and her colonies, proving the people that there WERE aliens, and that they DID destroy Klyrra IV! The Prodontians saw this happen, and lost complete trust in the human race. From that day on, the two races, Human and Prodontian, would never coexist in peace...

The battle was started by the Humans, firing their first Nuclear missile on what they believed to be the Prodontians capital ship. But then something happened, something that the Humans would have never expected: the missile dissapeared, just before it would've hit the enemy ship! And instead of a large explosion, they saw a sort of purple defense shield. It must have reflected the missile, but the humans weren't discouraged, and so they fired a second missile, directly at the same point on the enemy ship. The same thing happened, and seeing their missiles fade away like dust, they launched a full scale attack with everything they had on the aliens. The aliens patiently waited for the attack to die down, knowing that the Human weapons couldn't hit them. They didn't expect the battle to be so easily won, but they didn't know that the Humans hadn't invented things like energy shields and a way to 'break' them yet! This ofcourse was a great way of showing the silly Humans their power, and with only six missiles, they completely washed out the Human fleet! [I know that it sounds unlogical, six missiles for twelve ships, but one missile was capable of such an explosion to easily destroy two ships at once!!] The fleet was destroyed, and APC decided to quickly launch the remaining three N.P.C.'s with the colonists before the aliens would notice. The three ships were named after the three killed leaders of The Big Escape, namely: The Bronseon, The Clattar and The Kinjo. The Prodontians, however, found out about the quick launch of the three N.P.C.'s, and tried to destroy those ships before they would go into Subspace, which the Humans had discovered during the Colony wars, but never were able to create a stable entrance for, until now when they had learned it from the Aliens (who didn't know that the Humans were studying all of their moves!). They shot ten (!) missiles towards the fleeing Terran ships, but they were a bit too late: the three ships already went into Subspace, but the Prodontians DID however hit their tails which weren't completely through the entrance! This caused that the three Terran ships did NOT slow down when nearing Proxima Centauri, but instead travelled all the way towards the other side of our Milky-Way!!! The computers were burnt by the huge explosion caused by the Prodontians, and therefor they never started slowing down! The three ships however ran low on 'Sub-fuel' and HAD to come out of the Subspace in order to land on a inhabitable planet and wake up the Humans onboard. This planet was found not far from where they had gone out of Subspace, and after a journey which took in total about 60 years, the Humans were awoken again to build up a colony on what was intended to be Proxima Centauri III, but was in fact nowhere NEAR it!!! The colonists, discovering their location (sort of), started to build up huge complexes for them to live and to work in. They tried to access the main computers onboard the ships, to find out if they could ever take off with them again. The computers were burnt so badly that the scientists couldn't even get them to work again. This was not taken lightly by all people who were sent into space so far. There were a few meetings to decide what to do, but it was clear that the only option for them was to build up a second earth, and to try and build new ships to take them back. The called the planet they landed on Masunu, and the three ships with their colonists were devided over three fertile area's. The three colonies, Bronseon, Clatter and Kinjo, all had a flowing economy and not so long after the 'crash' they decided to go into seperate ways: Bronseon would try to create new ships and technologies, Clatter would be a medical colony, and Kinjo was trying to be the farming colony. They all cooperated for the new era, for the year 1 instead of 2400, as what it was going to be. They decided to make a new era, and they called "X years after the Big Escape", or BE.

The colonies were so quickly advancing, they were able to build new space ships already in the year 15 BE! This caused them to create new colonies on the other planets in the Masunu system. They discovered a new alien race, which called themselves The Sem^Py~ner`Ah_monai. The Terrans weren't able to say that out loud, and so they were called the Spy~ren. With this discovery, a whole new world finally opened up for the Terrans. Alien races were discovered in the surrounding systems too, and they all united into the URA, the United Races Alliance. They decided to make an easy way of travel between them. The region in which Masunu lay was called The Kornal Sector. In this Kornal Sector the Terran, Spy~ren, Caustoi and Jinna races lived. The sector next to Kornal was called the Nexus Sector, as it was in the center of a small cluster of stars. In the Nexus Sector lived the Mittians, Khrin-Tahri, Chari and Voran races. The surrounding sectors were not given any names, as they were believed to be totally empty, and that no races lived there. They also had very few planets able to live on, and were considered useless. From the moment that the URA had agreed peace in the Sectors, the eight (known) races celebrated for a long time, and they made up the Interstellar Sector Unit-System, called ISUS. All races were trading with eachother, and all lived in peace. Until that terrible day, which was March 15, 76 BE. The Charin War broke out, and the Chari, the Khrin-Tahri and the Mittians united to become the "Darkness of Fire." The other five races united against the "Darkness of Fire" and became the "Bearers of Light." The war kept going on, but on June 24, 135 BE, the Prodontians showed up and began to interfere with the war. Nobody knew where the Prodontians came from, but everyone was convinced that they should either be banned or killed. The Prodontians noticed the threat, and retreated to the nearby Sector which was 20 lightyears from Nexus away. Thinking that the Prodontians weren't coming back, the Charin War was suddenly ended, but what the reason was remains to be unknown...

Yes, i know that there weren't any characters introduced yet, but does that really matter? You'll get to know them the next chapter, I promise. Well? What do you think? Is my story good or bad?
